Has anybody heard about the NexSTAR trainer from Hobbico?  I guess it comes
with a chopped up version of Realflight that the Transmitter works with.
The plane also comes with the Co-Pilot auto leveling system.  According to
the instructions it only takes 20 minutes to setup the plane and begin
flying.  Sounds like they are going after the market of people who like to
learn by themselves.

Nexstar comes with the Futaba "Active Flight Stablization" not the FMA
"Co-Pilot".  There is a big difference in how well each works.  I have
both.  While both work under ideal conditions, the FMA system works
much better under a wide range of conditions.  Personally, however, I
do not like either for training purposes.  Sure, a new person can fly
sooner with the assist, but then they must relearn how to fly without
it IMO.
