My mom get this glue from the fabric store called Jewel Glue. It is used
to glue jewels, beads, and rhinestones onto fabric. It is flexible,
washable, and permanent. Says it can also be dry cleaned. It is a white
glue that dries absolutely clear, and is very flexible.

I haven't tried it myself yet, but since it says it's dry cleanable, I
was thinking it might be fuel resistant if not fuel proof.

It is made by Delta Technical Coatings in Whittier California.

Take a scrap piece of canopy plastic and glue it to a scrap piece of balsa.
Let it dry clear and see how it works.  Do worry about it being fuel proof
as the canopy will protect it.  If you are really worried, put some striping
tape around the base of the canopy for additional protection.

If you need a scrap piece of Lexan polycarbonate send me your address and
I'll put it in an envelope and send it to you. Wayne, www.rcsailcars.com

A correction:  Change "Do worry..." to "Don't worry..."

I figured that was a typo. Haven't tried it yet, but am going to.
