Ok I have 5 batteries to charge,  charging overnight is fine since I live
next to my feild.
2 600 mah Nicad rx batteries
1 600 mah Nicad tx battery
1 1650 mah Nimh Rx battery
1 1650 mah Nimh TX battery

I already own a Ace Super Digipace 3

Should I??

a. Keep Digipace and Buy Ace Digipulse
b. Sell Digipace and buy used Litco Alpha 4
c. sell digipace and buy minron mobil.

Please help

d. Keep Digipace and buy GP Triton.

It costs you nothing to keep the Digipace, and it would serve nicely
as a back up or secondary charger.  Remember, there is no such thing
as 'enough hobby stuff'.

The GP Triton, least expensive of the "top line" charger/cyclers, has
0 - 5A current output, which is C/10 for a 50AH battery.  Dunno many
modelers using _those_ for flight power.  More importantly, it has the
option of using a thermal probe to monitor NiMh pack temperatures
during charge, and to terminate the charge if the temperature is
excessive.  Excessive charge temperature is lethal for NiMh types.

DAMHIKT.

The Digipace max charge current is 150 mA, so your NiMh will charge
over night.  The real downside is the charger purports to handle NiMh
but has no provision to monitor pack temperature.

IMHO the entire Ace product line is about ten years out of date and
gettin' behinder.
