What is the best 2 stroke 90 to replace a ST 90? If the bolt pattern is the
same that would be a plus.

I wouldn't use a ST engine if it were free! Not worth the trouble.
According to AnneMarie Cross at GP, Super Tigres are "sport" engines.
They are not designed to have the great mid range throttle response
that we have come to expect from OS and others. They are Sunday fly
around engines not designed for 3D or quick transition maneuvers. I
have had ST .51, .75 .90 and 2300. Sold them all. The 2300 still did
not transition well after a gallon of break-in. Got a Perry carb and I
was still not really happy with it. Never flew with it because I
didn't want to risk my expensive giant scale plane so I sold it and
got an OS 1.60 which ran great right out of the box although I did
break it in. I love that engine. No comparison with ST. This is just
my opinion. I am sure many guys love STs.
