I'm considering adapting a CH ignition to an engine they don't make a kit
for to replace the engine's stock magneto ignition.  Does anyone know if the
CH hall effect pulse switch can be used with the engine's stock flywheel and
magnet rather than installing a custom hub for the small CH magnet?  The
weight of the flywheel is not a concern in this installation.

It may work, why not just connect the CH up to a spark plug & move the
pickup over the flywheel & see if you get a spark.
