Hi
I have changed the lithium battery in my radio.I added wires and a
battery holder which sits behind the circuit board in foam(much better
than pulling the front off to replace the springs. When I 1st turned
it on it was dead, so I tried holding down buttons and turning it on.
It managed to power up OK when pressing store and turning on but,the
built-in voltmeter now reads .5 volts lower than it used to. I
verified this with my voltmeter and the tx power on.
Question:Has anyone an idea as to how the get the meter to read
correctly?
Thanks

Bad cell maybe?  Why don't you cycle it a few times?
