Good News!

Do you know how simple it is to go to Heaven after this
life has ended?

The good news is that God came from Heaven to earth
in the person of Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago and
died for our past, present and future sins(misdeeds).
He was born in the land of Israel supernaturally to a
virgin Jewish woman named Mary. He lived a sinless life
for thirty-three years and then sacrificed His sinless
blood and died on a cross to pay the death penalty for
our sins.

After Jesus died He rose from the dead three days later
as He said He would. The Holy Bible also tells us that
Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven and that all who accept
Him as their Lord and Saviour will live forever with Him
in Heaven where there is no more death, sorrow, sickness
and pain.

The Holy Bible very clearly explains how simple it is
to be saved and on your way to Heaven, "For if you
confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe
in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you
WILL BE SAVED." (Romans 10:9)

You can be saved right now and on your way to Heaven if
you will open your heart to Jesus and pray the following
prayer:

Dear Jesus Christ, I want to be saved so that I can have
a home in Heaven when I die. I agree with You that I am a
sinner. I believe You love me and want to save me. I
believe that You bled and died on the cross to pay the
penalty for my sins. I believe that You rose from the dead.
Please forgive my sins and come into my heart and be my
Lord and Saviour. Thank You Lord Jesus Christ for
forgiving me and saving me through Your merciful grace.
Amen.

You are now a Christian if you said the prayer and allowed
God to save you. Welcome to the family of God.

If you decide to wait till later you may die before you get
another chance to be saved because none of us knows
exactly when we will die.

Have a great day!

Cos he thinks here is one, and doesn't think he is a fool.

It's all in the mind innit?

The world is what it is , we are what we are.

Some people produce theories about divine intelligences setting it all
up, others just shrug and say 'that's the way it is'.

Whatever rocks your boat..

I would rather live my life for/ and believing in God, then die, an
find out he did not exist, than I ever would to reject him my whol
life, and then die, and find out he is indeed real.. Just think abou
that for a moment.
One of the problems here is young folks like you thin
they will live forever and it just is not so.
In my Bible in Psalm 14:1 it says only a fool would say there is n
God.. What does your Bible say? If you don't beleive me look it up in
Bible the next time your in the Wal-Mart or the Library.  Brian

Who is rejecting anytjhing?

You cannot reject something that doesn't exist.

As far as the teachins go, all good handy stuff to be sure, but mostly
common sense. Why get *religious* about living like a decent civilised
person?

Complete crap. I will die within probably 30 years. So what? should I
spend my declining years in self deception to make it feel better? Might
as well become a heroin addict. The effects are more immediate I believe.

Well it would, wouldn't it?
Imagne t Bible sayng 'relkigion s a oad f balls' It probaly di

Not a lot really. I am not sure where it is, even if I still have one.
It's  deeply boring book anyway.

Nearest Walmart is about 5000 miles mate. It's a bigger world than you
think.

Look, get it into your spiritually brainwashed head. No one here is
rejecting religion. Or Jesus, or Mohammed or Confucius or the tooth
fairy. WE simply grew out of them and learnt how to live without
constantly worrying if Big Daddy in the Sky was gonna tan our a.ses for
being bad.

We were, he didn't. We were good, we got ripped off.  We threw away all
the useless garbage, grew up,  and settled down to find a modus vivendi
that was the makings of a halfway decent life, without asking some
priest how to do it. That's all.

We don't reject god, we just a are totally BORED with religion,. and it
does nothing for us OK? We live for months at a time without even
thinking about religion or God, get on as decently as anyone else.until
you come along and start blathering about it in a place where its
totally not wanted. We are here to discuss Toy Airplanes. God doesn't
know anything abut Toy Airplanes. They are not even mentioned in the bible.

Hey D.H.,

Jeez, reading you is getting almost easy enough to sell the plans...

So religion is another one of your hot buttons, or were you just trying to
prove you are a DH.

You would, of course, never find out he didn't exist!!!       8^)

Well, if there isn't one, when you die you will find NOTHING out.
You will be dead.
That not with standing, your argument is called Pascal's wager.

I would think that your "god" wouldn't be too happy that your sole
reason for believing in him/her was because it is the better bet.

You say that like it's a bad thing! Why he did it
for MANY reasons...least of which was to set an
example to others. He liked her cooking, she
listened to him and could hold her own in
discussions about any subject AND boy was she a
hottie! Rabbi's NEED wives like that, after all
WHO does he talk to at the end of the day? Hmmm, a
very good rabbi he was. As for the carpentry
skills that was never mentioned...but he was good
enough to get paid to go everywhere.
On other forums I'd go FURTHER. But out of respect
for you all and the NG I WONT...anyway it's just
same darn spammer that keeps morphing and getting
KF'd in my system.

History does not record anywhere at any time a
religion that has any rational basis. Religion is
a crutch for people not strong enough to stand up
to the unknown without help. But, like dandruff,
most people do have a religion and spend time and
money on it and seem to derive considerable
pleasure from fiddling with it.
