Hello all,
I am again wondering...  i have heard of this school  does anyone
here  know of anybody who has been to this school?
I hear  that they train you for one week(more if needed)  This is
kinda like  a "crash course" in RC. one of my buddies  is interested
because the instructors  in HIS club are not always around, so he
thought this might be a good idea.. He did not get to fly as much as
he wanted to do this past summer...
I have heard of this place too(not too sure of the exact location) but
it sounds like an interesting idea...
I know in brownsvilleTX they such a school for fullscale   you fly
every day  for like a month or so  groundschool too  it aint cheap but
i gues it's for folk who wanna get it done  in one fel swoop
 thanks gig

Email me at fliers1@aol.com for details on the flying school. Most lear
to fly very well within a week. Helicopter training is offered whethe
interest is expressed or not

Your friend would be further ahead (Is he you?) spending the winter on
a flight simulator (like FMS). He can then hit the flying field in the
spring with a better appreciation of RC piloting. Also he'll pick up
whatever instruction he'll need in short order.

However, it might be fun to also attend one of these schools, but I
understand they are somewhat pricey. Depending on the size of your
wallet and the amount of spare time you have will bet the determining
factors.  Don't expect too much from a school because to gain
competence and skill requires a lot of hours of practice.

Ciao,

Hello
No it is not me...  but i am very interested in this too..I would be
a liar if i said i was not curious..  but my buddy is the one who has
a greater interest....  it's not to say that  if i had some extra
money to invest in this and some spare holiday  time   that i would
not go-because i would go!  I could always use some more training  I
have some planes that i am not good enough to fly yet  that at some
point i would like to get airborne wE BOTH already  have the simulator
program  and use it alot....  but my P3 1GHZ is old n tired so i am
building another machine  as we speak  to make the program run
smoother..
thanks for all of the help in this matter....
