I'm looking for a windshield and
a cowl for Nick Ziroli's Aeronca 7ac
it's a parkflyer with a 35 1/4 wing
span. I've already asked Nick,
discontinued.

Raymond,

I have one of the Aeroncas - neat plane.  I built it as a replica of my
step-sons' full scale one.  Was not very happy with the quality of the
kit.  It crashed on it's first launch and broke in half.  When I
rebuilt it I reduced the wing incidence by adding 1/16" under trailing
edge.  I changed stock 280 for a Acro Speed 280 ball bearing motor.
Went to 2 cell lipo.  Changed to an APC prop. Plane flies nicely.  I
have sometimes flown it with 3-cell lipo (1320mah) and finally burned
out motor.  It does a great flat spin with easy recovery. I am making
wheel pants for mine now.

Hope you find a source for the cowl and windshield.  My cowl has seen
better days.  The windshield should be easy to make.  You might be able
to make a balsa plug and pull a cowl in the oven.

Goog luck,

Bob

willing to sell you for $10.00 per set (1 set = 1 windshield + 1 cowl
including postage. Please e-mail me at wgoshert@msn.com if interested
