Someone asked me for pictures. Not only does it fly, but if you ask too
much of it it crashes, too!

Do you need to implement control loops in software?
"Applied Control Theory for Embedded Systems" gives you just what it says.

Perhaps it is just me, but when I pull up the above link, it looks as
though it is a white plane, with a white engine, and white wheels, and that
you were flying it in a snow storm.
Is that what everyone else sees? <g>

you forgot the white prop and the white exhaust, but that pretty much what
it looks like to me. Really dig the white ghost flames down the side, I must
say...

Ayup. Leaves you wondering if that thing actually ever got airborne ;-)

What browser are you using? It works fine from at least two different
machines here, off the web. I'll admit that I was in a hurry and only
tested it on Mozilla, however.
I'll give it a try on IE the next time I'm on a Windows machine.

I tried it from Firefox 3 and IE7 - nothing but white space on both.
Whatever you did since then, it now shows up on both Firefox and IE7...

I happen to have firefox as well as IE, and by jove it showed up.
If that is you flying, who is taking pics? The re-kit looks like the last
CL i did but my little guy stepped on it before it got airborne.
mk
never did figure out the difference why IE didn't go and FF did.
there is an extra space in the flying models link. James' link is not
working

At least the great gross error is fixed, and the picture of the kid with
the plane.
The great gross all-white-page error was from terminating the <title>
field incorrectly; Firefox was guessing my intention, IE was just choking.
The picture of the kid was a capitalization problem in the file name;
it's fixed too.

Go here: http://electricjetfactory.com/ Search for F-20. There is a great
build and fly link and they outline everything they used. I was right, it
was a HET setup.
Good luck!! Let us know how she flies.

Congratulations on getting it up in the air; blessings on
the reconstruction. BTDT too many times. :o(

All of the breaks are clean yet have lots of surface area. Except for
the leading edge of the wing, which must have been fracturing long enough
to allow some oil in, I can just hold the parts together and flow in thin
CA and go flying.
Had I been out at a field instead of in my back yard I would have done
just that. I may put a carbon stub spar in the wing just to hold all of
the many-times-broken parts together (we had a few crashes on the really
underpowered old unreliable engine, too), but maybe not.
This thing cries out for a really hot 049, or a mild 075, or something.
It's good for going in circles. But my kid is ready to do loops, and it
ain't.
