HItec will work. Make sure the receiver is Positive shift or put it on pos.
shift if it's phase shift selectable or get one of the ones that
automatically pick the correct shift configuration. A Berg Rx. is small and
has long range, you'd buy a pos. shift. I'm assuming here but, if your
putting it on a Slow Stick the push rods and control surfaces may need to be
beefier with a larger motor and larger radio gear. IMHO the micro stuff
should be enough. If I may ask, what are you planning?

I want to do the basic Slow Stick, and then many possible
alternative configurations of the basic Slow Stick. The
first alternative will be an upgrade to a brushless motor.
Then I am considering an upgrade that will give me roll
capability, I am currently leaning towards tailerons. I may
eventually try elevons and different wings. When I try
different wings I would like to make these scratch-built,
and try different alternatives of the basic airfoils.
Hitec will work great.
