Depends which simulator software you intend to use... some such as.
RealFlight G3 & G4, Reflex etc require a proprietary dongle that interfaces
with the software and so user must buy an original package which includes a
lead for any JR TX.
Otherwise for ClearView,  FMS and other freeware refer to sub section
