The Eureka Models version of the garratt will feature the long bunker with
sound tubes.
With the appropriate markings this means that it can be represent either the
so called light or the heavy AD60.
The reference to "Standard" on the order form denotes a so called light
engine whilst "dual control" indicates that the model will feature the DC++
markings.
We might try to make it a bit clearer on the form.

Ron,
thanks for that clarification. An order is on the way.

What is the practicality of having a detachable long bunker which can
be replaced by the shorter version for those who want a light Garratt
for their branch line? Presumably the sound tubes could be cut off
if desired to complete the conversion!

Its my understanding (and no doubt if I'm wrong umpteen number of people
will just love to correct me), that all garratts eventually had the extended
bunker and sound tubes - both heavy and light types. As initially delivered
they had a smaller bunker which was found to be too small and so was
extended. The sound tubes were then added to allow the crew to hear rail
safety denonators.
The use of the term "heavy" garratt refers not to the overall weight of the
loco, but rather to the increased weight distribution over the driving
wheels - and thus increased tractive effort. However this increased driving
axle weight made then unsuitable for the lighter western branch lines. These
lines could only be worked by the light garratts. In model form the light
and heavy garratts are the same - the only difference is the DC (dual
control) and ++ (heavy) markings on either end.
