Well Werris,
You have frequently complained about lack of traffic on this group but was
it necessary to go so far just to generate a few extra postings!!!!!

I only had to go as far as Southern China, only about 14000 Kms there and
back.

It is the standard policy of the manufacturer of the AD60 in China to
construct all of their locomotives so that they are capable of negotiating
15" curves. They in fact test each and every model produced on a test track
incorporating 15" curves.

When I have told them that I would be happy with 24" curve minimum they were
a little bit hesitant and I have no doubt that they would still like to
construct the loco so that it can manage 15"curves.

When the design process which is underway now is finished this matter and a
number of others will be settled. I would probably be happy to come down to
18" provided it does not detract from the model.
