Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any information regarding the liveries of the
Krauss used at Burrinjuck?
Looking through Newland's book, it is quite obvious that colored livery is a
real possibility. One shot shows Archie distinctively lighter than a sister
loco in the same shot and one of Robin shows a two toned scheme with a
darker border around the body panels.

I know that Archie is currently green, but is that an indication of the
original color or simply the preserver's whimsy?

Which photographs lead you to believe that the locos were other than
black when in use of the Tramway?

Certainly, when I first saw "Archie" and  "Jack" in their later Sugar
Mills life, both had green side tanks, but this to me is not evidenced
as being their colour when in tramway use.

Newland's book, Goondah to Burrinjuck, page 46, bottom, Archie and Robin,
with Archie clearly much lighter than Robin. Page 47 bottom, Robin showing
her two toned scheme. With these being such a popular prototype, there must
be some info somewhere.
Any help would be great.

"Kreecher".

Please contact me directly, as an email to your above address bounces
as "no such address".

Yeah the RTM must have a surplus of green paint.
