Greetings all

Having completed a model 32 class and a traction engine a friend now
wants to build a model of a the Silver City Comet. He needs drawings and

good quality photos (which he is prepared to pay for).

Can anyone assist?

Regards,  Ray

For starters he should get hold of a copy of "Australian Diesel Scene 2" by
Everleigh Press (http://www.australianmodelrailways.com/evframe.htm) as it
has an in depth article on the Comet with lots of pictures, plans and other
relevant info.

If you reside in Sydney, why not go to the RTM at Thirlmere - inspect
the real thing and take all measurements necessary.   There is another
complete set preserved at Broken Hill.   Dorrigo has a set also, but
it is not available for inspection at this stage.

I'm pretty sure that Stephen Jonstone(sic), models had some casting of the
car bodies out a few years ago, the contact details should be in a ARJM
edition
