Has anybody got drawings of the Hitachi Suburban Cars as used in Melbourne?
I need a set showing them as built and also as initially modified by the
Met.
I have checked out David Bromage's excellent Railpage, but plans are not
available there. In fact is someone would be prepared to scan the diagrams
and send them to me freight_man and I have a hotmail account :) I will
forward them on to David as he can add them to his site. Appreciate your
help.
Cheers
Rod from Wodonga
ps Rocket Rod Williams has plans on his site, but they are so small I cannot
read the measurements. scans need to be 3000 x 1500 to guarantee clarity.
If you would like to help me and the diagram is too large for your scanner,
just scan twice starting from each end, but keeping the top edge close to
the top of the scanner edge, and I can stitch the two together.

The first release of Peter Vincent's rolling stock CDs had reasonable
sized plans of at least M and D cars

Thanks Stuart
My CD's are packed away as I am moving, but as a last resort, I have the
cd's somewhere!
Now everything on the cd's is on one of Peters websites, I better check
there too
Cheers

Thanks but you did not read my post :o(
I found Rods drawings, but fotopic only deliver smaller jpegs, not the size
that Rod posted and titled them with :o(
I have e-mailed Rod, just in case he still has the originals accessable.
