My father died a couple of months ago, he had a few boxes of model
train track and trains in his attic, from what I know it was from the
1920's or 30's. Where would I best sell it?

Ebay. If you do not know a lot about the trains, post a lot of sharp
photos, and let the punters make their own decisions.

Where are you at? It maybe best to take it to a club, have them give
you an idea of its worth. Then put it on Ebay, that way you wont get
ripped off.
