I would like to make my own decals. Does anyone know how to make their own
decals or where one can have them made if the process is too involved ??
Thank you.Ted

i have recently learned you can buy decal paper to suit your printer. i
haven't yet tried it out but others have said it is ok.

on the tri-ang e-group we have been discussing this issue extensively and
conclude that quality is a major consideration, as is the need for white ink
for a bunch of applications. I have successfully created one nameplate for a
British steam Black 5MT using Photoshop (I am a graphic designer), A Canon
i965 Printer and High Resolution paper.

There's a range of small firms that make decals, but it depends what you
need and what profile you're modelling. I was at Trainworld the other day
and saw a lot of decal kits for Australian profile gear.

cheers

Steve
