I learned a lot using the csm v10, its quite basic but it did the job, I too
have a shuttle and using the sim helped me a lot, I cant seem to get it to
work on windows XP though so I'm treating myslf to the reflex xtr, pricey at
£130 but what the hell, what the wife doesn't know, I can't get into trouble
for !!

nice 1 firebucket    BUT  what about the lead to connect to my
sanwa? does that come with it?
And shold i be looking for software with a shuttle plus in it?
or are most helicopters roughly the same and i should be
concentrating more on the Sanwa tx? and lead?  thanx

I was using Hitec and Futaba tx's and the sim came with a 6 pin din lead
which fitted both, I cant honestly remember if the shop i bought it from
asked which tx i was using but they must have done, when i ordered the
reflex sim the guy at the shop asked me which lead i required, its coming
with a futaba lead but i also bought a jr one for £4 got use with an other
tx. Obviously tell who you get it from what tx you're using.
I'm not sure what the difference is with a shuttle plus but the sim lets you
set the virtual heli up as your real one ie weight, rota dia, head speed,
boom length etc so it 'should' act the same'ish.
hope this helps.

You can also download a shuttle (or 3) for FMS and they fly pretty
realistically - the interface is easy to make and I use it with a RD6000
(not sport or super) on ME no problem on XP I use a software driver with no
problems.
