I've been poking around for awhile seeing if I wanted to jump in to this hobby.
Thsi guy is pretty close to me, and he's got pics of the heli flying posted so
at least it hovers...
He's asking $1200 for it all.
Raptor 30v2 Helicopter
This heli is complete and ready to fly. I bought this kit from HeliProz. This
heli has had about four gallons of fuel run through it and it has never been
crashed. Engine runs great and there are no unusual vibrations or noises. The
reason I am selling this is I just don't have the time I would like to fly it.
You get absolutly everything you need to fly and maintain this machine.

Not a bad price given everything that's included. When you begin in this
hobby, it's not always the cost that needs to be considered, but also the
knowledge you need to gather all the tools and other bits & pieces together.
That's something you don't need to even THINK about with this package.
In your shoes, I'd go for it, but of course, I'd try to "bid him in the
stones" while I was at it:)
If you don't try, you don't know, but if he won't bite for a lesser bid,
then 1200 still isn't a rip off price. (Despite what others may say and what
others may tell you "They could've got that for "blah, blah" dollars)

It may be a good deal in GB but not in the US. You can get 95% of the
stuff brand new for U$1200 from Heliproz. Everything here is used so
even in pristine condition, at ~75% value, anything over U$800 is too much.
Just my opinion.
