Checked out the link, videos are pretty good, Should be impressive from my
Heli when airbourne then. I have a 4 Stroke engine in the heli so hopefully
that won't be too noisy on the sound.
Regards...........Mark.

I have put these on a couple of airplanes thusfar and I found that the 800mw
version does not do any better than the 200mw version. So you might as well
use the 200mw version and make sure to mount it on the bottom if you can so
that the plane itself does not interfere with the reception. You need to
make sure that your exaust doesn't come anywhere close to it also as I have
found that cleaning glow fuel off of these is damn near impossible. You
also need to play with different antenna's for the reciever. If you have
any HAM radio operators that are friends they usually are more than happy to
help you with it. I also foulnd that there is a 5 volt regulator in the
cord of the camera and that using regular 9 volt batteries is a mistake as
they will only last 1 flight before giving up. Better to use a rechargable
9 volt or if you can support the weight, I used a regarchable 9.6 volt r/c
car battery purchased from radioshack to run it and it will run an entire
afternoon with no problems. Just make sure to shut it off between flights
because the camera gets a bit warm. I am currently going to have my Jedi
Master of heli piloting take one of my camera systems up so I can get some
video to put on our clubs website. Check it out soon at

Thanks for the tips Jamie, will let you know how I get on when mine arrives.
I am still finishing off the Scale Conversion on my Heli first before
fitting the camera (Bell 230UT)
I have the camera cradle made up ready which will be well away from the
exhaust as you describe above and is fitted with foam to assist in Vibration
damping
