I'm getting close to running my Raptor 50V2 for the first time, and
have a few questions, two of which sound to simple, so don't shoot me
down in flames:-)
1. The manual doesn't give any info about tail rotor pitch setp. Any
suggestions?
2. I have a pump to pump fuel into the heli, but what is the best way
to do this. ie. Do I fit a T piece in the line to from the tank, or do
I remove the pipe.
3. No where can I find info about starting and running the TT50Pro
engine for the first time.
A link to a good site to answer these newbie questions would be
welcome.

I would suggest getting some help from someone who knows what they are
doing, because if you are unsure how to get the fuel in the tank then there
is on chance of you running the engine in correctly.

For fuelling a T-Piece is a very good idea but make sure that you have
something to clamp the tube that runs between the T and the carb, otherwise
you run a danger of flooding the engine when filling. You can get specific
plastic clips from the LHS but failing this just make sure you pinch the
tube whilst filling.
Cheers,

I'm flying a Raptor 30 V2. This is my second year so I don't have a lot of
experience. Make sure you get some help in seting up the heli and test
flying it. I would recommend having an insructor help you till you are
comfortable with forward flight. I would also recomend getting a good
simulator and becoming very comfortable flying it before you attemp to fly
your machine.
Now about the rotor. I set mine up for maximum travel. The tricky part
about setting up the tail rotor is getting the gyro\radio setup correctly.
My gyro sensitivity was at like 80% (futaba 401\digital servo combination)
when I started to hover. Now that I'm in forward flight I have it set ot
around 30% with some expo. This makes the tail rotor much more sensitive.
(I flying the gyro in normal mode for now as instead of heading hold.)
So... form my limited experience setting up a helicopter, I would suggest
having full travel on the tail rotor and adjusting the sensitvity with the
gyro and expo on that channel.

I use a header tank and fill it and back fill the main tank with the line
from the carb. Being my first heli its the only way I've done it but it
woks fine for me.

Lots of info out there on the net. I have the OS 32 so I can't help you
much here. You may find some info here http://www.raptortechnique.com/
Good luck and be safe.
