5mm to 4mm Raptor rotor bolt

I recently got a new set of main blades for my Raptor .70. The original
blades had a 5mm bolt and the Raptor grips are designed to accomodate a
5mm bolt.

The MS Composit blades I received have only a 4mm mounting hole.

Does anyone know where I can get a set of hardware (bolts, washers,
bushings, etc.) to properly mount this blade set in my Raptor? Or is
there an alternate mounting procedure?

Thanks

I'd contact the blade manufacturer to see if they offer the blades with the
larger mounting hole.  Some blade manufacturers use a bushing in the blade
itself and all you'd need to do is replace that bushing.  I would not
recommend trying to modify this part of the rotor blade, ie: drill out the
hole.  The risk is too great, IMO.

You may be able to have bushings made that will allow the use of 4mm bolts
in the 5mm holes of the main blade grips on the rotor system but personally,
I think you'd be better off getting rotor blades that will accommodate the
larger retention bolts.  The model manufacturer went to the larger bolts for
a reason and I think you'd be better off sticking with them if at all
possible.

Good luck & Fly Safe,
Steve R.
