Just wondering something that flies 10000 rounds a minute,
it may become dangerous.

You should be on bloody Mastermind!

The danger is obvious. That's why I insisted on buying a ductfan plane
instead of cheaper blades. :P

Let's say 1500 RPM, will give a tip speed of about 200 - 300 MPH, all being
driven by an engine producing between 1 and 3 BHP......

Nah not dangerous just LETHAL in the wrong hands!!!

Not at all. A sword shaped item weighing some 8 ounces turning at 1800rpm
being driven by close to 3.5 horse power couldn't POSSIBLY be considered
dangerous, now could it?

Are you looking to be sued when he kills himself?

Hey Kev. Remember me mentioning my uncle and him having a heli for a while?
Well he's just bought a Hummingbird for learning in the living room, and is
now looking at helis on eBay.
I keep telling him not to bother with old things that he can't get parts
for, and keep trying to tell him that you can buy stuff new for nearly what
a lot of people ask on eBay, but I have a feeling it's not sinking in.

I mentioned you being a bit of an old timer and he said he went to a flying
area in Little Lever years ago and Dave somebody (Revolution models geezer)
was there... Does that ring any bells to you?

Anyway, I think I might have found a new member for your two-man flying
club, when he gets himself a heli. What do you think? Will you be accepting
new recruits? ;-)

So that'd be a firt then? He's an uncle for f.cks sake, and uncles NEVER
listen to nephews. Let him make his own mistakes, then move in on the bits.
You'd be able to flog 'em off on eBAy :)

Lots of folk have been here and a few when Whitto's been here. What's is
name? That tends to give me a better clue than "Dave was there" :-))

I reckon. Give us a bell or email me off group if you've lost me number.

"10,000rounds"?
What is a "round"?
Probably not dangerous!

Depends on what you define as dangerous!

Example: Main rotor blade spinning @ 1500 Revolutions per minute. All of a
sudden for an unknown reason. Main rotor chops your head off or possibly another
body part! -- In this case -- YES A Helicopter's Rotor Blade could become very
dangerous!

Like a square with curved corners then?
Must be crowded to get 10,000 of them in a heli!
