Does anyone know how to get the game to work without the usb cord it
came with.  I have my FMS cord to usb I would like to use.  Any help

If it is anything like Reflex-XTR then the USB adapter is known as a Dongle
and has to be present for the software to work. It will contain some
circuitry that is required. It is used as a Copy Protection mechanism, not
just a Transmitter to USB connector.

Then go and buy the full sim instead of trying to use a ripped off copy.
That'll help you AND those who developed the sim.
