I was showing off as my kids were watching me (NEVER AGAIN)
Anyways it was up then it banged down :( the boom is a gonna but my
main concern is that on the main blades. Its the butterfly looking
thing  plastic and is attached to the smaller ballancing blade,
that has a split in it. Any help would be appriciated as i dont
want my local hobby shop rto rip me off. If need be i could up some
pictured on a web site and direct u there to take alook :) all the
best

Why not look up prices on the internet? You apparently have access.

Debbs,
The downside of helis is the cost of repair associated with a crash.
I've known crashes where the required parts cost more than the original
kit.

About your local hobby shop. Local hobby shops offer convenience. As
you might guess, convience comes at a cost. After all... they tie up
their capital holding inventory they may never sell. Then there are
employee salaries, building overhead, insurance etc.  NET: I wouldn't
say they're ripping us off... they're simply attempting to recover
their expense and make a profit.

That said... I buy 99.9% of my inventory on-line. Not that I don't like
local shops... its just that this hobby is expensive enough so I try to
save whenever I can. I've ordered parts from Hong Kong and Japan and
the deliveries have taken as long as three weeks, but then again, I
save a ton of money. On the flip side a friend of mine buys 99% of his
inventory from the local shops. He says he wants to touch and feel what
he's spending his money on, and he  wants to have it now. He also
enjoys the benefits of having staff willing to help him when needed. I
guess it's all about priorities.

Anyway... on your Shuttle... I'd start with a crash kit even though you
may not need all the parts. The price is right at $44.00 and the extras
may come in handy some day. The rotors and tail boom alone would
justify it for me.

Of course there's always the ever-popular eBay. Shuttle parts posted
almost daily. NOTE: The shuttle parts link was too large to paste here
without wrapping so I used Tinyurl to cut it down to size. The link
will redirect to the eBay shuttle parts.

Now... if you really love your Shuttle, and want a real kick a.s
selection of spare parts, this eBay sale will more than likely be the
best bang for your buck. Heck... you could probably even build another
shuttle as a back up!

Like Psyclic suggested... surf the net... all the parts you need are
out there
