Hummingbird CG

Hi ya'll! I'm working on trimming out a Hummingbird VII heli and have it
staying almost perfectly stationary with the wheels just barely touching the
floor (it's the Airwolf heli), but it keeps tilting over to the right.
Holding it by the flybar I can see that the side to side CG is just a little
off with the heli hanging slightly lower on the right (all the electrical
connections ended up on the right side so i'm guessing they're throwing it
off a little).

What's the best way to deal with this problem? Is there a good way to add
weight to the left side of the heli to balance it out or should I keep
trying to trim it out with the radio trim tabs?

Also there seems to be a fairly large amount of tail rotor vibration... is
this normal? Main rotors seem very smooth as long as they're totally
straight across.

Thanks! 8-)

Uhmm.... are you telling or asking me? :-\

LOL!

It doesn't exactly "hover" like that though, it takes off to the right as
soon as it's left skid leaves the floor no matter how much left trim I put
on it. Grrrrrr!

Tail rotor vibration was due to it slightly bumping the motor gear every
revolution.... 2 small flat washers spaced it out and stopped that. Much
better rudder control now as a result. 8-)

I'll figure this all out, even if it costs the heli it's life. >:-)

I thought you meant it hovers leaning to the right which is what most
helicopters do and some have different length landing gear to hide this fact
but if full trim does to cure it you will need to adjust the links or the
servos
