To cut a long story short I have owned a Kyosho Concept 60 for ni on 15 yrs
and never flown it till now. I have spoken many years ago to Beav about this
:-) The problem is now I have learnt to hover using the honey bee 2, the
tail on the concept wags in the wind. When it calm and hovering alls fine
I'm using a csm 360 gyro every thing else is standard I presume the wag is
due to play between the servo to the tail area, is there a fix or kit to
take out the play ? i.e. is it worth thinking about refitting the servo
straight to the boom at the rear etc.
Regards
Bob

I'm not an expert on that, but from what people wrote over and over about
tail wagging it almost always seems to be a gyro issue. Gyro too sensitive,
or gyro vibrating, if I recall correctly.

It won't hurt, but I'd go further than that now Bob. The "wire in the tube"
which is the tail rotor pushrod system is pants and it needs ditching in
favour of something that doesn't act as a magnet for oil, dust and crap.
Fit a complete boom mounted servo kit (about 30 dollars or so) which
inclused the mounting plate for the servo and a carbon pushrod. Make sure
there's NO friction in any part of the system too. That includes the tail
pitch slider, the blade grip balls and the blade grip feathering plane. Oh
yeah, and the ball links at both ends of the pushrod.
