battery: thunder power lithium-polymer 2100mah/11.1v 3-cell
charger: triton, set correctly at li-lo 2.1amp, 11.1v. at full charge,
displays 12.60v (about 40 minutes to charge).
power converter from house current: 15amp. charger instructions...
"requires at least 13amps."
motor/controller: brushless multiplex multicont bl-37
my problem: flight times average 8 minutes and dropping. the multicont
shuts off automatically around 10.5v.
i got at least 12-13 minutes when i bought the battery new (2 weeks ago).
when i charged today, i noticed the batts are beginning to bulge, although
slightly. i did slash 1 cell ever so slightly (1/16") last crash, but no
signs of damage, just a scuff mark.
what did i do wrong, besides crashing?

... only if you're charging at it's maximum possible rate, with the
biggest batteries it can charge. In your case, I doubt it uses over 4
amps.
When it says 12.6 volts, the battery is fully charged. Try using the
Triton to discharge to 9.0 volts at 2 amps -- use NiCd or NiMH mode
for that (it's ok -- it won't ruin the battery as long as you stop at
9 volts.) See how much capacity you have left -- I suspect it's not
anywhere near 2100 mAh anymore.
