Hi ALL,

I have been looking round the web for information on Mini Heli's and quite a
few names have been comming up alot -

Hornet II
Zoom 400
Humming Bird
Honey Bee

The list goes ever on....

The small heli's realy do apeal due to cost and not having a massive house
or garden.
I have bought a few copies of MHW and reading the reviews in there.

I like the idea that some of the packs come with a training CD/Software to
get you used to the controlls and learn to fly - Are these any good/relistic
?

Is there any advise you can give to me to get me started and do these
cheaper kits like the Hornet II come with all you need ??

All the best and thanks for taking the time to read this

Honey Bee come with a sim cable and you can use that with a free
simulator call FMS (Download www.flying-model-simulator.com).

Honey Bee, I think you mean the eSky brand
(http://www.hobbyjapan2000.com/store/proddetail.php?prod=EK1H-E004),
right?

I'd go with either the Zoom or the T-Rex. For lotsa talk about these, check
runryder.com . If you are strictly looking indoors, micro helis could be
the ticket. The smaller the heli is though, the more difficult it is to
learn to fly it.

Simulators are highly recommended. The free FMS simulator at
http://fms.pathbot.com is okay for learning but it's not overly realistic.
G3 or Reflex XTR are a lot better. The G3 can be purchased with a sim-only
controller, which some find convenient. Reflex needs a cable to your
existing radio. Which one is better? Well... ask two people and you'll get
three opinions.
