Well was given a TT39 ProH as a present, installed it and started to run it
in on 5% fuel when after 5 minutes BANG.  Con-rod broken!  I take it Amerang
can do repairs if I sent it back.  Unfortuanetly though I don't have a
recipt, will this be a problem?

Given it has only be run for 5 minutes, they should be able to tell that it
has hardly been used.  I suspect that if you approach them nicely rather
than with demands and accusations they will probably sort it out for you.

This is of course assuming that it is a UK sourced engine - they may be able
to tell.

Cheers,

Nigel
