I'm with the Corby and District club and we have quite a few heli flyers and
a patch with no time restrictions just southwest of the A43/A47 junction.
There's also a heli only club at Thorney but reputed to be unfriendly to
newbies.

Thanks for your reply. I was aware of Thorney, but exactly for the same
reasons really. Are there any heli instructors at Corby? I haven't got
any kit at the moment just practicing on the flight sim ;)
