I tried a friends in my 9C. Seemed to work fine. I decided that I really
didn't need a synthesized module. If you already have one, I don't think
there would be any problems using it in the 9C. If you don't have one and
want one, I believe there is a synthesized module made by Futaba available
for the 9C.

Futaba does make a synthesized module for the new 9C Super. I don't think
it's compatible with the older (original) version of the 9C but I could be
mistaken about that. I would definitely contact Futaba for clarification on
that before purchasing one.
As for using the aftermarket module, has anyone that' using this had the
system properly checked to make sure it's "really" operating within the
appropriate frequency specs? Just because it's working, doesn't necessarily
mean it's right. If it's within the proper parameters, I'd say go for it!
