Remember that programme on TV? (One of the Bridges bro's IIRC)

Anyway, I called round at one of my pal's places yesterday (Mr Oil-leak) and
found him and another pal working furiously on one of their heli's so they
could go flying today.

"What're you doing" sez me to Oil-leak and he sez "Rebuilding the auto unit"

"Ahhh" sez me.

"They should be smooth in operation shouldn't they" sez him.

"Yeah" sez me.

"This f.cker's sticky" sez him.

"Let me have a feel" (oo-er misssus) sez me and so he did. It felt sticker
than a un-desmegged bell end on a sunday morning after a nights whoring.
"So did you clean this before you rebuilt it dry" sez me?

"Course I cleaned it, (yeah right, it was filthy) and I used this oil"

"Ahh", sez me, "THIS oil"

"Yeah, that oil" sez him.

"This oil that's really threadlock, y'mean"? sez me.

"Is it f.ck threadlock, it's oil, it sez so in the destruction manual" he
happened to mention.

"It's f.cking threadlock, despite what it sez in the f.cking amanual: SMELL
it" sez me, quietly, but firmly (a one does).

He argued that it was oil and I argued it was threadlock. I won the argument
by a nose. It was threadlock, and PERMANENT threadlock to boot.

He cleaned the whole unit in thinners (stripped it down again first), then
rebuilt it dry and it felt lovely jubbly. A drop of 3-in-1 oil and he's now
known as "Automan" :)

Hence the subject:-))

Reminds me of a true story where granny is looking after grand-daughter for
the day.
Daughter has an eye infection, so granny puts drops in supplied by kids mum
& dad.
Kid ends up in hospital, granny picked up the wrong dropper bottle didn't
she.
It was CA !
