Just got my Blade CX last week and already have become pretty good at
hovering and turns. I have two (2) of the LiPo batteries, but have
noticed that they seem to be wearing quickly -- getting about 6 minutes
of real power out of each, then only get enough throttle to hover 1-2
feet off the ground.
Anyone know if there is a larger capacity battery available or coming?
Thanks.

You have another problem then. I get 10-15 minutes easy on mine.
Maybe your charger is not topping them off correct? Maybe you have binding
somewhere on the heli. Not sure, but 6 minutes is crazy.

I think something is wrong.. I don't have a CX but a CP and with
1320MAh LiPos, I get at least 15 mins per charge before power starts
to dump.
Don't let those LiPos discharge too far. Once you start running out
of power, let 'em cool then recharge 'em.
U sure you're getting a full charge into 'em?

For the stock lipo battery come with the Blade CX, the flying time
should be around 10 minutes. Check if you fully charge your battery

My CX battery was fine until I had a very hard landing and from there
the bnattery capacity seemed ot have declined by 25%.

You've probably got something tweaked that's binding the drivetrain
and requiring more power to spin it up.

I agree, had you done damage to the battery...you would be needing a fire
extinguisher!
