Model Helicopter World is an established monthly mag  - see
http://www.modelheliworld.com/

Rotor World - http://www.rotorworld.co.uk/ has just started up and
seems quite good. Both are UK publications but available for delivery
worldwide.

Ive just bought - Comprehensive Guide to Model Helicopter Aerobatics,
A (Modeller's World S.)  by Russ Deakin (look on Amazon) and it looks
very good, starting from the basics upto aerobatics.

Plenty of other books out there but some are now a bit dated.

pricey..is it worth $84 dollars a year vs rotoworlds $28?   Do you own a
helicopter?  thanks Mike

...I will pay postage..I just want to check it out to see if I should
subscribe thanks -Mike
