We are trying to locate 2 Graupner 1880 Wankel rotary engines. They
deliver around 5 HP. These are labeled as NSU/Wankel and were made by
mistake by Graupner years ago. Do you have any knowledge as to where we
could a possible source?

Thanks

The Ruskies managed to mistakenly build B-17s for quite a while.  Same
thing with some Roll Royce turbines too...  (and who knows what
else..)

Yeah,

Beav could be a great teacher if he could unwrap his head from around
his arse and empathize with those of us who are still new to the hobby.

I've been a model heli pilot for several years, but he has been at it
for 10 times as long.  I'm a n00b by his standards.

I also understand his point of view.  A lot of folks these days will
pretend to know more than they actually do.  It's prevalent.

I figure he can't sort through all of the BS to get to the truth, and so
it's easier to insult instead of being helpful in light of the BS.  It
is understandable to a point..

That's a class bit of thinking. I've been teaching newbies with more than a
little success for over 20 years. I only had one student drop out because I
didn't "empahise" with him, but he was a c.nt, so f.ck him AND the horse he
rode out on.

Indeed it is.

I can sort through the bullshit when I want to, but what's the point? A
bullshitter is a bullshitter is a bullshitter and I've no time for 'em.
anymore, but correct me if I'm wrong Marco, but have I not provided YOU will
help over the years? If not, stop masquerading as the real marco.

 It

It is if you've a lot of time to throw away.

I guess I'll have to correct you.  You've never helped me, although you
posted some info a while back in response to someone else's question,
and I too found it useful.

You may have helped a different person who also uses the name Marco.

AFAIK, I am a real marco, and I don't think there is a 'the real marco'.
Just like I'm sure you don't have a couch partner named Butt-Head.

I simply made an observation that you wasted your valuable time with
insults and innuendo.

Don't worry, you'll get over it.

Hence the "correct me if I'm worng" part of my post.

You shouldn't make assumptions like that, my couch partner could get pissed
off.

What insults and what innuendo would those be? Please re-post them so I can
see for myself.

It seems just like you to have preconceived notions.

Out of respect, I'll refrain from responding to you the way I've seen
you respond to others.

If it works for you, go to it, but just Google this group and me, then
google this group and you and see who's been asked the most question and
who's given the most informative answers.

And if all you've got to argue with is a typo or two, it's time you grew up.

These occasionally show up on Ebay. Judging by the price they bring, the
manufacturing mistake was that they were made from platinum......

Do you mean, instead of 'by mistake', that they were prototype engines?
