Hi, need some opinions from the experts.

I am interested in starting this hobby. I don't want to by a Heli at first,
but I want to fly a simulator.

Should I buy a Radio that I want to use (I'm eying for Futaba 9CHP) and use
a cheap simulator (Reflex, CSM), OR

Should I get Real Flight G2 with the controller and practice with that?

I'm in Malaysia, so all the prices will be times 4 for me (USD10 == RM38).
Shipment will also be expensive.

Thanks.

I've got Real Flight G2 which I bought second hand through this group. It
seems pretty good so far and you can use your own controller with that, so
long as you have the transmitter interface. You don't have to buy the
version with the dummy controller. Why not have a look on ebay and see if
anything's on offer there?

Having read previous posts, I suspect you'll get replies from supporters of
all the different simulators. They all have their supporters (and
detractors), but whatever you end up getting, I'm sure it will undoubtably
save you a lot of money in the long run, since crashing the model on the
simulator doesn't have the same effect on your wallet as crashing the model
in real life...

As far as my limited experience of Real Flight goes, it seems pretty
realistic although I'm hoping that when I get my own model airborne in "real
life", it won't be quite as hard as the Impala .30 trainer in the program!
(Or maybe I just don't have the aptitude to fly these things?)
