Ok, well I got my Picoo-Z in, which is actually a Pico-Z, which even
odder is listed on the site as a Picco-Z.. ARGH! So yeah, Hobbytron is
indeed selling off clones on the Silverlit product.

At any rate, sure I got it in. I dug up 6 AA's and turned it on. It's
actually got a pretty good charge right out of the box. I set it on the
ground and spun it up.

Even though it's a clone, it flew pretty well. In fact, I'd be hard
pressed to see much of a diff between the two products. I mean come on,
there's NOTHING to the thing. Not like it would be hard to copy, eh?

I noticed that it needed alot of trim though and spun like mad to the
left. After a fair amount of punching the right trim button it eased up
and hovered fairly stable.

I decided on trying the push pin idea to see how it worked out.. It
flies slowly forward.. I then twisted the tail to see how that worked.
It flies faster forward...

All in all it's fun as heck. I had to laugh as I was using it, and
promptly bashed it off a wall or two, and a chair.. Picked it up and set
it into the middle of the floor and flew some more. The ONLY thing that
I can gripe about is the dog slow tail reactions.

Maybe it's just me. I shudder to think of saying that this thing takes
any learning curve. Really, I don't consider it anything beyond a toy.
But it is indeed fun..

In fact, it's fun enough for me to get a few more to mess around with.
Which I'll no doubt do.. Alot of laughs in a little package, what better
fun could be had.. ;)

I have the Picoo-Z also and have been having a ball with it. My battery may
be getting a bit tired because the flight times are down a bit. I have not
exactly been easy on this lipo though. I run the thing till it can't hover
any longer then immediately put it on charge which I am sure can not be good
for the battery at all. I will certainly look into replacing the battery
because this thing is such a blast. I just got the Micro Mosquito as an
early Christmas present and this one flies even better than the Picoo. I
believe it is a bit more money also. It flies really well and is much easier
to control than the Picoo but it does look like it will be a bit more
delicate also. I am sure I will continue to have a lot of fun with both of
them through the winter months ahead.
