BasilBadger,
I did a search and this is the only post ever made on this model. Yo
see, I am scratchbuilding one, as an autogyro! :p And yes, there is
plan and if you want, I can give it to you.

Hey, I got a friend from Denmark too. ;

Here is a pic of the plan and some photos of the real thing. This pla
is not totally scale though since the designer made it an autogyro.
don't care though, I actually think its cool

Hi Eric,
Thank you for the pictures and plans.
I am still not ready to start planning building the FW-61 as
helicopter, but one day i hope to attack that project.
Those rotor heads are still an unknown. Perhaps i should go visit som
of the museums i Germany where they have the FW-61s. I have trie
contacting them by email but have gotten no answers.
A good look at the mechanics would probably answer many of th
questions.
I would very much like good copies of the plans!
Perhaps you would like the pictures i have collected from the net?
Building it as an autogyro makes sense, since it does away with most o
the unknowns surrounding this fascinating aircraft. I think i will giv
it a go too.
Let us keep in contact.
I wish you the best of luck and many happy landings,
Henri

Well Henrik, I sent you an email through RCGroups so I don't know if yo
will get it or not... I have never done it through this site, but
assume it will work. In case you don't get it just put a post here an
I'll figure something out.

I doubt it also. Its highly unlikely and I didn't expect him to kno
him, I was just commenting on it since I knew a foreign exchang
student from Denmark and leaned a bit about their language and culture

That looks pretty cool. Have ya flown it yet? (Sorry, didn't check
the date on the last post in that thread)
You do realize that video of the first flight is required for the rest
of us to see, right?

Yeah, but if you destroy it on the 1st flight, we'll never get to see
it airborne. :)
EricClark - 17 Aug 2007 18:55 GMT
Well, ya see.... I tried to fly it this morning and it didn't fly.
think I know why and if want to know more its all in the thread above
Also, any videos/pics I get will be posted in that thread also. :
Cheers!
BTW, I did have the camera rolling for the flight this morning, it
just that it didn't go. ;
