| What do you thing of the Eflyte Blade CX2?
It's an excellent helicopter trainer. Very easy to fly, stable. It's
likely to survive crashes without damage as long as you cut the power
immediately (or add fuses) and if things are broken, they're cheap to
replace. And parts are likely available at the local hobby shop.
It can't handle any wind or turbulence whatsoever, so it's pretty much
inside-only. Outside, even 2-3 mph wind is too much, and any
turbulence will cause the dreaded `blade clash'.
You'll outgrow it quickly, but it's still fun to toodle around the
house even if you have outgrown it.
Lots of people buy them and either outgrow them or decide that
helicopters aren't for them and sell them used, so you can get them
cheaply if you check the local craigslist or equivilent.

ditto. I've had mine awhile, and I don't see myself getting rid of it
anytime soon. I've just got to where I can land it on a 1x1 foot
square of my choice in a narrow hall, but it took some practice..
here's a spot for the blade cx/2 that I favorited a few months ago. I
just got the xtreme 180 a/b motors, but I haven't installed them yet. I
also had 2 dn power lipo packs, but both of them started swelling after
5 or 6 charges, so I don't recommend them.. I have a mega power pack on
order.

One thing to note is that the extreme motors are for the esky lama, but
they fit the blade cx2. This is making me wonder if I spent $100 more
than I should have.. :/ I don't have a lama, so I can't compare..

I thought about it, and it may not make sense, so:
What I'm saying here is that the xtreme 180 a/b motors fit both the lama
and the blade cx/cx2, and the lama chassis looks very similar to the
cx/cx2, so I'm kind of wondering if the cheaper lama is what I should
have gotten.. but I don't have one so I can't compare the two helis.
