Hi Dave,

Miniature Aircraft has been an industry leader in top line helicopters for
years now.  The X-Cell Spectra G is fine performing machine with one of the
best rotor and control systems on the market.  You'll be hard pressed to
find a bird that flies better.

As for parts availability, you probably won't find them at any local hobby
shops although there are Internet based stores (www.heliproz.com and soon to
be back up and running www.ronlund.com) that stand a good chance of stocking
most of what you might need and can get anything you need if you give them a
call or drop them an email.  Barring that, you can order the parts directly
from Miniature Aircraft through their web site at
http://www.miniatureaircraftusa.com/default.asp.

On the affordability question......how do you define "affordability?"  ;-)
Seriously, the one downside to Miniature Aircraft is that they pretty much
offer only top line equipment and their prices reflect that, unfortunately.
Compared to most of their competition, they are on the pricy side.  The
other side of that coin is that you're getting top quality too.  Whether or
not it's worth it to you will depend on the first question in this
paragraph.....how do you define affordability?  I've owned and been flying
X-Cells since 1989.  Many of those years, I was flying them exclusively but
I don't remember any of those years when I didn't have at least one X-Cell.
I really do like their flight characteristics and quality and Miniature
Aircraft is a good company to deal with.  I don't think you'll be
disappointed with the Spectra G.

Fly Safe,
Steve R.
