===========
I am planning to buy one of the followings or something else for a
friend who is brand new to this hobby and has no experience in flying
helis:
JRP9005A (JR VENTURE KIT,32 SX-H ENGINE, MUFFLER)
JRP9005C (JR VENTURE CP30 HELI/RADIO/ENGINE/GYRO/MUFFLER COMBO)
But my friend has already bought following items at his own:
a) All the radio control things from a Japanese manufacturer called as
JR (Japan Radio) bought in Japan. Here is the list of things he got:
1. 72 Mhz Synthesizer System N9 II HS. This contains following items:
a. PCM 9X II (V2) ; 9 channel SPCM/PPM selectable transmitter for
helicopters (NET N239 HS)
b. RS10DS (Receiver)
c. Four servo motors (DS 811)
d. Battery etc.
2. JR SRVS GYRO set - It contains following:
a. G770T gyro
b. Super servo for gyro (DS 8900G)
3. Flght simulator:
Aerofly Professional Deluxe (version 1.8.0.9)
Please review above and tell me your receommendation. I only want to
buy what he does not already have to save some money. Also does he
need some special simulator to practice ? How about the repair kit and
frequency specturm scanner ?
Thanks

training undercarriage
and I take it he has the necessary starters and batteries
but he needs to get a lot of time on the simulator before trying the
real thing, and some one who can fly to give it the once over and set up
the trims

The first option (JRP9005A) doesn't duplicate any of the bits he has.
The second option (JRP9005C) duplicates the Gyro so you should avoid that
one.
But as Kevin said, JRP9005A plus the bits he has is not a complet list of
everything he needs.
He has a simulator (Item 3 in his list).
Frequency Spectrum Scanner is a luxary you can do without.
Inevitably, he will need crash spairs but as Kevin said, the more pressing
need would be for starting equipment (glow plug, starter, drive, battery and
fuel).
Cheers,
Nigel
