You are aware that the convention for dates in the US is MM/DD/YY,
right? And that people world-wide use this group, right? I realize
that in other places it's DD/MM/YY, so I try not to embarass myself by
correcting them...

(Personally, I prefer YYYY-MM-DD, because it sorts properly and is
unambiguous, but that's just me.)
