it helps to remember that the co-commanche is essentially an esky Lama
V4 with a cooler canopy design. The tail rotor on the Co-commanche is
for aesthetics only and serves no function during flight.
in general, esky products are cheaper than their e-flite
counterparts. (it's e-flite who manufactures the blade) one of the
chief reasons for this is that e-flite is an american subsidiary
company, which distributes its products to local hobby shops across
the country. when you pay extra for the blade, you're paying for the
shipping and distribution costs to bring the helicopters over from
china. when you buy esky helicopters, however, they're direct from
hong kong.
another thing to remember is what Kevin R meant by one being a cheap
copy of the other. having owned and flown and crashed both, i
honestly can't vouch for the validity of such a claim. the blade has
broken just as much as the lama. they're as equivalent as they come.

the plastic's might break the same but I bet you the electronics are a
lot better in the blade 2.4ghz for a start ,and esky are Chinese as well
as the blade

Thanks for the info. I have great experience crashing my blade. I kind of
have become a Blade Mechanic, having changed almost everything on it at
least once. I was looking into the E-Sky beacuase of its cheaper cost,
maybe I would have something to crash while I'm waiting on parts for the
other. From the link that you sent, it seems to me that they are just about
equal in function, and from looking at various sites and e-bay, quality as
well.
Anyway, thanks for the reply and the link you sent.
