Can anyone please explain to me the effect of increasing or decreasing the
gain & the proportion, on the 4 in i1 controller please?  The instruction
manual whilst referring to them both doesn't actually convey any meaning to
me at all :-)

When I land the helicopter & turn the transmitter down to nil the blades
still flick round a couple of times hence I wonder whether altering the gain
or the proportion controls can correct this.

USUALLY this is an indication that the throttle(pitch) trim on the
transmitter needs to be changed to a lower setting.

The gain and proportion controlls o the 4&1 usually work as follows.
The gain controls the internal gyro, and is set to prevent shaking of the
tail
The proportion adjustment is used to stop/prevent/slowdown rotation of the
tail as the throttle setting is changed.
Use of an external gyro gets into another bag of worms.

Thanks for that info Chuck, that's very helpful

The Throttle trim is at minimum and whilst the blades do flick round a
couple of times they do this, now, so infrequently that I can live with it.
I have however now stopped the tail wobble using the gain control  & have
adjusted the proportion so that the helicopter doesn't turn as much without
my wanting it to.

I apologise for not replying before but for some reason  the above message I
originally tried to send  sat in my out box & had not gone & I hadn't
noticed although I did wonder why in hadn't appeared in the bb.
