Hi

What's the best stuff for gluing carbon fibre,
Say tailboom to mainframe or boom to tail motor housing
Tried cyano and all that stuff & never had much luck

Thanks

Not tried it, but araldite works on most surfaces. Its a two part epoxy and
needs around 24hrs to cure, but for most things it normally does the trick.

Rough up the mating surfaces so that the glue has something to grip on.
CR seems to work OK for such things as carbon fiber rods and rod end cups.
My stuff has compression clamping at the tail boom to mainframe and tail
rotor assembly.
This seems to work well, and just a drop of CR locks stuff together.

That reminds me, I was gonna see if LokTite would work with carbon fiber
telescoping tubes.
