My message to Beav was *supposed* to go directly to him, without the newsgroup being involved at all. Again, I do not intend to post further to the group so comments about the post are unnecessary. If there's one thing to learn about online discussion, including usenet, is that there are always "a.sholes". Another thing to learn is that no one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to read their messages, much less forcing you to reply to them. Finally, I basically only lurk in this group to learn from the much more expierienced folks who have "been there, done that", and personally I feel Beav is someone to listen too. He may be abrasive as salt in a wound, but he generally knows what he's talking about.
