The OTHER Kevin in San Diego - 18 Aug 2009 18:21 GMT
Just got home from the 2009 version of the IRCHA (International Radio
Controlled Helicopter Association) Jamboree in Muncie, Indiana.

I'm pooped.  Spent nearly a week at the site, flying, partying,
eating, partying, flying, socializing, partying and pretty much not
sleeping.

Got the turbine dialed in and flying really well and nutted up one
afternoon and rolled her upside down a few times.

Ran into Steve R again (Good to see you again Steve) and hung out with
the Bergen folks most days and the S.W.A.R.M. party on Friday was a
blast - and I didn't even get a hangover!  (Thanks to the makers of
Gatorade and Tylenol!!)

Weather was warm, but not unbearably so and the A/C in the trailer was
working great.  It was good to get home last night and enjoy a hot
meal and a long shower and sleep in my own bed.

Already making plans for next year's Jamboree!

Good to see you too, Kevin.  Your bird looked good and you seemed pretty
comfortable with it from my point of view, especially while dodging the
3Der's.  ;-)  Sorry I didn't get to witness the aerobatics.  Maybe you can
demonstrate the 3 foot piro flip next year!  :-)

Take care & Fly Safe,
Steve R.
